Hello Pune

Hello Pune

Hello Pune….. how r u doing?? I dont need to ask, you always rocks.

Pune, Cultural Capital of Maharashtra State, the city is blessed with lush greenery and thus called as ‘Queen of Deccan”. The home to great people like Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Lok. Bal Gangadhar Tilak and many more legendary. An educational destination for aspiring youth so it is known as “Oxford of the East” (Vidyanagari). History, journey and tales of Pune cannot be covered in one page article. So this is what little I know about this amazing place.

Let’s continue to my tale of Pune city and what I have found, explored, learnt and experienced…..

It’s been two and half years now since I have relocated here. At the time of relocating, I was excited as well as nervous too, with lots of questions like how the city will be, the people, whether Pune will accept me, would I be able to get along here or not, would I feel homesick and blah blah…. however I am happy to say that I got very warm welcome in Pune.

I am grateful that I got to know lot of people with good n kind heart, who inspired me, encouraged me in some of the other way; some became good friends who will be always there by my side. Have found some beautiful places surrounded by lush greenery in and around, thanks to a bunch of crazy friends found here.

With due respect of Pune, the most confusing part of this City (which I found) is its roads and oneways, specially the Peth Areas….. It seems like bhulbhulaiya for me…. I hope some of you would agree with me 😉

I have been asked many a times that which city do you prefer most Mumbai or Pune? Well tough question J To be frank there is no comparison of these two beautiful Cities. I am not trying to be diplomatic, however for me each place has its pros n cons. The place/ city where we are born & bought up is like our first love… isn’t it? And a new city which welcomes you with an open arms, big smile and full of opportunities is like a Best Friend.

Whenever we visit any new place; it’s a great opportunity to get to know people, culture, different food, attitude, a unique style and a lot more things. As each individual has its own routine so the Cities also have its routine style.

So in short I would always love Amchi Mumbai. Because “once Mumbaikar is always Mumbaikar” 😉 Simultaneously I am glad that I got a call from Pune which I received it happily and accepted the offer to come & explore.

Thank you Pune n Punekars….

My cup of Tea

As monsoon has started, most of us do enjoy a hot cup of tea or coffee in this romantic season. Am I right?

Well while having a tea a thought came in mind; we usually say that ‘this is NOT my cup of tea, that is NOT my cup of tea’ and blah blah… what happens next, story or conversation ends there.

I never heard anyone talking about as what exactly is their “Cup of Tea” ooppsss…. For that matter even I have also not shared anything in this context.

So why not find out what is “My Cup of Tea”. Let’s have some fun based yet productive interaction on this. Your cup of tea could be anything, your dream, passion, career, hobby, relations, emotions, any damn thing. Would love to know your thoughts on it.

Till now we were having ‘Sip of Tea’, now let’s have “Talk of Tea”

Cheers,

Be a Santa…..

No matter how old we are, we all love and like gifts, surprises. Isn’t it? Whenever we receive any gift we all end up with a 360 degree smile on our beautiful faces.

We are very lucky that we are surrounded by our family, friends and loved ones; they are the reason of our happiness.

This year for the first time I and few of my friends from Pune had visited an Orphanage to share happiness through gifts and each one of us became Santa Claus for a day 🙂 indeed it was really a great experience.

Thank you so much Neha Yeole, Riya Yeole, Nagma Inamdar, Tusshar, Sandeep, Sagar Gavli, Abid, Vijay Sancheti, Akash Jain and Ajay Kalyankar for their efforts and making this event possible.

God bless them….

Neelam Nepte 🙂

Amateur Writer

Haee,

Welcome to my Blog.

Well as this is my first article (wow, sounds so nice)would like to introduce myself…. This is Neelam (Blue Sapphire), born and bought up in Aamchi Mumbai, India. Lively, optimistic, fun loving, adventures. Like reading, eating, listening to Music, movies, dancing, traveling and so on….

I have been thinking to start a blog from very long, however whenever I think of writing something, I just lost the words, vocabulary n so on… Ekdam Blank. Can’t even write a single sentence.

Ufff…… you know what; I really like writing but I just couldn’t 😦

is it like I am not that creative, don’t have flair for writing? Why I found it difficult to form a creative content. Is it a kind of deficiency? Jo bhi hai I want to develop and improve it… but how???

Hey all, Thank you for your valuable time you have spent here (I know it is kind of “Not to make sense” stuff) I hope to learn the art of writing soon….
